hi there, it is an easy enough fix with the correct tools. remove steering wheel, the squibb which is the black round disc looking at you when you remove steering. easy pull wire plugs. then you are looking at the turnsignal switch. self explanatory from there. hope this helps you. cannot do the job its the lack of correct tools for it!!!

If you can raise and lower the window by hand, then it's the regulator. 9 times out of 10 it will be the regulator. I have a 2003 A4 and both rear window regulators are broken.

Try to clean rear parking sensors. Check also electric cables and connections, clean if necessary. Common faults are sensors out of order. If one or more sensors faults you hear only a continous constant noise when you put in "R" gear. You need a VAS, VAG-COM, Bosch KTS, ... diagnostic scantool equipment. The factory parking system will be scanned from errors with this instrument, and you will find exactly which sensors are out of order (for example: rear left center sensor, rear right side sensor break off, short to ground or short to plus).
