SOURCE: 1988 Dodge Dakota brake line size question

they should be 3/16" but if you want to be sure, take a quarter inch wrench and put the open end over the line if it is sloppy on the line it is 3/16" , if it fits nicely, it is 1/4" . that is the only two sizes they could of used.

SOURCE: i need a carburetor vacuum hoses diagram for a 82

If you go to AutoZone.com and register (free) you can nagivate your way to the "repair info" section. Once there look at the list in the center of the page and click on "emission controls:, after that look on the left side of the page for "VACUUM DIAGRAMS". the proper vacuum diagram should be there for your truck.

Vacuum hoses diagram

You will probably need to look at a repair manual for your Omni to find a vacuum diagram. Parts stores would sell them, public libraries might have them. If you have throttle body injection, the vacuum hoses are much simpler and fewer than if you had a carburetor with all those emission requirements for those years. I have an '87 Sentra, carbureted. Miles and miles of vacuum hoses !

Hello I have a 1993 dodge dakota but for some reason only the the windshield vents work when I took my stereo out i saw some unhooked hoses? Anyone know where they belong or how to hook this back up? help...

The vent selector works on vacuum. Those hoses are vacuum lines. They would connect to the back of the vent select switch, the one that you use to select what vent you want the heat to blow out of.

Idle promblem

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak. Check all your vacuum hoses to be sure they are attached properly and also look for cracks in them

88 dodge dakota

Are you talking about the Idle Stop Switch? if so it is located on the carburetor, above the throttle linkage. If you are talking about the Idle Stop Solenoid then it is located on the right side of the carburetor near the throttle linkage.

If this helps please rate me.
