1 st you should take into shop and have them do a vacume test on system ( they will **** out any freon and let system sit with a vacume pressure - to determain if there r any leaks ) if no leaks and everything else chks out just charge system --- or compressor is bad

2008 Trailblazer Air Conditioner not cooling. blows warm air for the first few miles then cools. It has been recharged.

Philip, You may have to have a good tech, check, diagnose and estimate repair. Could be a few things causing poor AC, recheck your charge level, check your fan at the condenser, make sure the condenser isn't obstructed, compressor clutch could be faulty, system could be plugged with contaminates limiting refrigerant flow. You say the system has been recharged, was it done properly, if not system could be plugged. AC system should of had system checked for leaks, evacuated, flushed, new orifice tube, then recharged with proper quantities of oil and refrigerant. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

I have a 2008 Honda Pilot. We have had issues since day 1 with the air conditioning blowing cool air, not cold. When we realized something was wrong we took the car into the dealer and they drained the...

Well I have a few Ideas for you. One, it has a leak and your dealer needs to find it..... Now if he is using a recover machine that weighs out the same refrigerant as he is putting in, I would say, ok, no leak you have other issues. One is has he used or is he using die in the oil. If so he needs to replace the receiver/drier replace the TXV valve and run a cleaning (flush) agent through your system. If you do not have a leak then there is too much oil in the system and he is adding to that oil with die every time he is adding die to the system. If you pull out all the freon then add it back the oil gets pulled out of the evap and condenser coils for a brief time, as you run the A/c it will work it's way back into the evap. where it hurts the systems ability to cool. Next Idea, is to teach you how to put freon in it your self. But first have the dealer run the flush through the system replace the drier, and see how long it last then. If he does that and that does not fix it. learn how to add freon, it is very easy.

2008 honda pilot a/c is not blowing cold air, blows hot air. bought truck in 2007.

the most common problem with honda and acura is the magnetic clutch failure on the compressor , test to see if you are getting power to the clutch assembly with the car runningand the A/C on max if you have power the compressure clutch is bad if you don't ck the compressure fuse and or the clutch relay.

2004 Honda Pilot A/C stop working. No clicking sound or cold air

See if it's the compressor by watching the compressor either spinning ( compressor is working ) or not ( compressor not working ). Compressor will not engage if refrigerant is low. Add R-134a ( 12 oz. can )
