The break light on my 1996 sebring has been going on and off and now it is harder to break sometimes

There is a brake light switch on the pedal inside the cabin of the car, if this switch is bad your lights will not work, also I'm fairly confident that the Sebring has a seperate fuse for the brake lights, check your fuse panels also

Yes it can be,with a weak battery the alternator has to work harder,in doing so you will loose the alternator faster,going down the road and the interior light flickering,hard to say without seeing it,

its most likely a wiring issue or fuse, check your fuses to see if there is a one that corroded or has a bad connection.

I have a car just like yours. My car use to do the same thing. When I checked for a code, it showed nothing. I would be driving down the road, sometimes 50-60, and it would just cut off. I bought a MAP sensor and that fixed my problem. Hope that helps.

Buy a factory sensor from the dealer . Chrysler vehicles don't like aftermarket parts .

On the underside of the hood (sometimes on the radiator shroud) there should be a decal showing the routing of the belt for the enging that came in the car originally.

if the fog light switch light up,good chance the fog light bulbs are blown out.if the switch does not light up,check fog light fuse

either the torque converter is breaking up inside or the flex plate that holds it to the crank is broke or breaking around the bolts that hold it to the crank

break lights are set to come on whrn the pedal is pressed, there is a push switch the controlls the break lights and its by the break pedal check that if there is a short some whare that would exsplane the dash lights
