Fuses keep blowing and don't know the cause
Look at the fuse to see how badly its blown. If the fuse link is badly splattered and black inside the plastic case, it indicates a dead short to ground. If its a clean melt with not much damage indicates the circuit is being overloaded. Short to ground, look for any traces of black arcing in the circuit or burned wires. If overloaded, Turn ALL items in circuit off, then on, one at a time, soon as it blows thats the one causing the problem.

You only have a few choices. Buy a repair manual at a parts store. Go online and google wiring for your truck and you might find it posted for free. Go to Alldata .com and pay for the info you need or ask nicely at a repair shop or dealer that can print off the required info.

No it wouldn't be a fuse because it's partially still working,LEDs are wired in series so it could be one LED is burnt out or the current limiting resistor has opened for that section.Repairing it would be fairly simple but will require a multimeter preferably with a diode tester and a soldering iron.If you're not familiar with using a multimeter and testing electronic circuits I would say let a professional repair it or replace the whole unit.Comment back and I will give you the test procedures if you fell confident in making the repair.
