2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Not Starting Intermittently

Over the past week there have been 2 times when my 02 Jeep Grand Cherokee wouldn't start. It occurred after having driven it somewhere, turned off, out of vehicle for about 5 minutes, then tried to start it to leave. All accessories and lights came on but car didn't turn over. After sitting for about 30 minutes it started. Car has about 85K miles, regular maintenance and I'm original owner.

Check the battery. If it starts to fail it will start doing any conceivable thing including failing to start the car. Have the battery checked with a load tester. A simple voltmeter will not give an account of the requirements needed and the ability of the battery to meet those requirements.

Hi
Pop into to your local garage and have a diagnostic test carried out.
Listen to the advise given. It may save you lots of money, especially if you start the "guessing" game.
It does sound like a part may be blocked or failed though, but the sytem needs to be tested thoroughly first.
Good luck

Blower works intermittently. The cooling is fine...just no push at times for cool air. Blower motor appears to be fine also. Is there a sensor or other that needs replaced? 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee...

Check where the wires go into the blower housing. There is usually what appears to be a small plate held by 1 or 2 screws that the wires plug into. This is the speed control resistor. If it's going bad, it will cause the problem you describe.

02 jeep grand cherokee cuts off after reaching running temp. 4.0L no check engine

Are you topping off the gas tank (MAX OUT) while you're filling?

The emission control system can soak with gasoline if you over fill the tank.

Locate the emission line that lead to the charcoal canister and let it air out under direct sunlight.

After 1-2 hours, reconnect the line and use starting fluid to start the car.

After 10 minutes of warm up time, then take it for a short test drive.

Very rough idle on 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Edition V8

If you haven't changed the plugs or had the fuel system cleaned, now would be a good time to do it. The number 1 culprit for rough idles is dirty injectors or plugs. You can try an injector cleaner in a can (or bottle) for under $10 and see if it helps, and then work from there. If there isn't any improvement then if you are able to, check the plugs for any gunky buildup and if you find a bad plug, make sure you replace them all (or have them replaced) at the same time.
