P2111 code I have a Drive Safe and Save Diagnostic Device Installed in my car that detected the following issues with my car. I am getting the following DTCs P0507, P2111, P2135, and P0221. Could you please tell me w the cause of these could be and if there is something that I can have my husband do to fix it or does it require a shop visit.

Gears will then be shifted to the optimum position. ? This is not only caused by electrical malfunction (circuits open or shorted) but also by mechanical malfunction such as control valve sticking, improper solenoid valve operation. (Other than during shift change) - When TCM detects that relation between gear position and condition of ATF pressure switch 1 is irregular during releasing accelerator pedal. (Other than during shift change) Possible Cause ECS00B0A ? Harness or connectors (The solenoid and switch circuits are open or shorted.) ? Front brake solenoid valve ? ATF pressure switch 1 DTC Confirmation Procedure ECS00B0B CAUTION: Always drive vehicle at a safe speed. code p2106 refers to throttle actuator control (TAC) system--limited power mode===causes ---wiring---TAC motor---APP sensor---ECM

code o2104 refers to TAQC systems ---forced idle mode===causes wiring---TAC motor--APP sensor--ECM

code p2111 refers to TAC system --actuator stuck open ==causes ---throttle body--throttle valve tight/ sticking

code p2111 also refers to TAC system --circuit malfunction==causes wiring---short to positive--short to ground---TP sensor---ECM

code p2111 also has a 3rd section---brake vacuum---implausible signal===causes---wiring---vacuum sensor--mechanical fault

P2104 is your throttle actuator. Probably wet the sensor. Try drying out with a hair dryer. P2111 is also a throttle code. Overnight the water has condensed and is affecting throttle position sensor.

P1000 JAGUAR - On Board Diagnostic System Readiness Test Not Complete, this is known as the OBD2 drive cycle.


Possible causes - The vehicle is new from the factory.
- Battery or Powertrain Control Module (PCM) had recently been disconnected.
- An OBD monitor failure occurred before completion of an OBD drive cycle.
- PCM Detected Trouble Codes (DTC) have recently been cleared with a scan tool.
When is the code detected? If DTC P1000 is triggered after DTCs have been cleared, all engine management OBD diagnostic monitor drive cycles have not been cleared. P1000 JAGUAR Description The On Board Diagnostic (OBD) monitors are performed during the OBD Drive Cycle. P1000 is stored in continuous memory if any of the OBD monitors do not carry out their full diagnostic check.

all the codes point to throttle body. clean throttle body, especially around throttle plate. check for loose wires, if problems persist. replace throttle body. p2104 is tac system forced idle, p2111 is tac system stuck open, p2112 is tac system stuck closed. clean throttle body good, and see if this fixes it. then go from there. have a good day !!

P1529 indicates that your TCM asked the ECM to turn on the check engine lamp.

The range switch and the output speed sensors are the items that are abnormally affecting the operation of the transmission. The diagnostic logic in your computer can distinguish these issues from one another, so you'll definitely want to do both. You have no diagnostic code for the input speed sensor (P0715) listed, so I have made no recommendation to replace it. In my opinion, it's not a labor-intensive repair, so I wouldn't recommend replacing it unless you have reason to believe it's bad.

DTC - P0720 (OUTPUT SHAFT SPEED SENSOR SYSTEM)

If the output from the output shaft speed sensor is continuously 50% lower than the vehicle speed for 1 second or more while driving in 3rd or 4th gear at a speed of 30 km/h or more, it is judged to be an open circuit or short-circuit in the output shaft speed sensor and diagnostic trouble code No. P0720 is output. If diagnostic trouble code No. P0720 is output four times, the transmission is locked into 3rd gear or 2rid gear as a fail-safe measure.

If diagnostic trouble code P0715 is output four times, the transaxle is locked into 3rd gear or 2nd gear as a fail-safe measure.
