Check your hoses going to the heater core,they are going thru firewall.Fell thehoses for coolant. Hose Clamps may just need to be tightened.

have you checked the pcv valve ( positive crankcase ventilation ). plugged pvc symtoms-- can contribute to sludging of engine. it will build up pressure in crankcase if plugged. the pressure can blow out seals, it can also force oil past oil rings and burn oil up in engine. shake pcv valve, if it rattles its ok. if all else fails check oil pan gasket and filter also. ive seen holes in oil filters or they are loose. and upon driving, pressure is put on oil and it blows out.

Sounds like your burning oil or leaking oil, how many miles have you put on the car since you last got the oil changed? Check under your hood for any fresh oil leaks around your valve cover gasket, under you car around the oil pan, also make sure the service station that changed your oil tightened your oil filter and theres not a leak there, make sure your oil drain plug on your oil pan is not leaking or loose, if you cannot find any of the above your most likely burning oil due to worn piston rings or valve guide seals......

That area is where the oil filter is and the oil pressure sending unit. Inspect the Oil filter to make sure that it's not leaking through a bad oil O ring seal, it's common for oil to leak from there is the filter has been put on to tight or to loose. If your oil pressure sending unit also have gone bad , it will leak from there. Also most important is to check your oil level, low on oil will cost you a new engine, note also to make sure that oil is not leaking from your oil drain plug at the bottom of your oil pan.

Best thing to do id to check your oil level and addif it's low and bring it back to the place your had your oil changed and let them know that your losing oil from the bottom of your engine. "oil filter area"

They will most of the time repalce the filter free of charger or just charge you for a new filter, but most likely that if it's a faulty filter. They will not charge you for a new filter.

You can buy a florescent dye to add to the oil and a light to make the dye really shine.
Clean the engine with "brake clean" from a spray can at the oil leak areas ....then run the engine.
Check for the start location of the leak.
Start with a short run time ....... then longer run time if necessary until the leak(s) show.
With or with out the dye ......this brake cleaning method should help locate the leak(s).

Oil leak locations could be...in order of the most common on your car are........valve cover gasket,oil filter,oil pressure sending unit,drain plug,oil pan gasket,crank pickup sensor,rear seal.

if you think the filter gasket is leaking take filter off check for double gasket if it is replace the oil filter and take off 2nd gasket.

Regular Oil Changes with the recommended oil type for your car and area are a must or seals will get weak and oil will leak!

You may have a leak!

Do you change your oil regularly?

Even if you haven't put on the miles, you should change your oil every 3 to 6 months to keep the seals renewed.

If you haven't changed your oil on schedule, do so immediately!
Also check for any oil leaks around gaskets, filter, and oil plug.
