No it does not, if motor shuts down, when u disconnect battery, then ur alternator is bad.-battery is only used to start the engine, after that, alternator takes over
Your alternater is going bad not putting voltage out to run the engine
You need to test the truck voltage you sould have around 14v dc
if its lower then 13v dc replace alternater
Yes it does, how ever if you are removing batter longer than 24 hrs you will need to plug a 9volt batter threw the cigarette lighter to prevent the comp. from totally deprograming it self. some times it will but in30 % of the time the computer will need flashed after reinstall batter for it to work again. if you don't keep 9volt constantly running to the computer.
