How do I disable the alarm or kill switch on my Alarm

Just remove it. It shouldn't be too hard, take all the parts and harness out, reconnect any cut wires and wrap any exposed wires with electrical tape.

After market alarm or remote start. Every time I find them on a car with a security or electrical problem, I tear them out. Fixes the problem 99% of the time.

If you have a factory alarm system (not one that was added from a non-Toyota alarm manufacturer), the way to disable the alarm is to insert the key into the ignition, cycle the key from lock to on (not to the start position) five times. Try that and see if that fixes your problem. Remember, this trick will not work if you do not have a Toyota system installed.

entertain the possibility that a previous owner got tired of the alarm going off and disabled it.
if there is a question on this board almost as common as i lost my owner's manual, it is how do i shut off this annoying alarm which goes off constantly killing my battery and annoying the whole neighborhood.

If it's not a factory alarm locate the alarm unit and the main power line running to that alarm and remove the in line fuse from that line. That will disable the alarm and should disable the starter kill switch that is installed.

the remote control for the electric door locks should disable the alarm just lock it then unlock it, try that it might work

do you have the keypad for the alarm? The car thinks the alarm is tripped and it's disabling the starter. If you don't have the alarm pad, either get a new one or you can try to disable to starter kill relay. Is it a factory alarm or after market?

you should take it to a alarm specialist cause there in lies the problem the kill switch is a thing that kills gas from going to the engine the best thing u could do is have the alarm removed

your driver side door alarm switch may be stuck. use your key to lock and unlock the passenger door. this should turn the alarm and kill switch off. the red light on the dash should go off.

Is this a factory alarm, or after market? If its a factory alarm you can disarm the sytem using the key, insert into the door and turn the key so the door unlocks, this will disable the alarm.

If it's an aftermarket installed by a stereo shop, there should be a valet switch under the dash or somewhere, put the key in the ignition, turn forward and flip the dip switch in the other direction. If not, then you will need to go under the dash, find the alarm box and pull the plug out.
