Check for spark from the spark plug wire pull the plug wire put a screw driver in the wire hold it by the plastic handel so the shaft of the screw driver is close but not touching a ground and watch for a spark be careful not to get shocked or see if the fuel pump is bad sometimes you can hit the gas tank with your hand while you turn the engine over you have to hit hard and fast while trying to start it this means the fuel pump is bad if it starts because it will stop again

My 1985 Buick Century won't start it act like it wants to turn over but it's not

Try this. Open the air intake hose. thats the 4 inch thick hose on the top to your motor going from the air filter box. shoot starting fluid into it while someone cranks it. if it starts look at the fuses but most likely be clogged fuel filter, clogged air filter, bad fuel pump. these are the most common issues when it trys to start but won`t.

Prizm geo won't turn over, I noticed it was very low on oil. Acts like the battery is low.

fill it up with oil and and try to jump start it with some jumper cables
you may also try to turn the engine over by hand by using a scoket on the crank pulley if it turns over real hard or will not turn over the engine may need to be replaced do to no oil

03' Envoy turned over at first then not at all

Are you saying it won't crank now, or just won't start ?
There should be a solenoid that locks the shifter that is activated by the brake pedal switch. I would check for voltage at the brake switch and that solenoid.
You are right in the thought about the code. It is for the throttle actuator control module and could have been set by pumping the gas pedal with the key on.

I have a Honda civic 1.5 vtec 1995. Car cranks but won't fire, then after 3 tries at starting stops cranking. A jump start usually starts the car again and then ok for a couple of months. This is...

sounds like the distributor. over time the distributor could get debris and condensation inside it and cause it to act up here and there.

Cranks but won't start sometimes. Also has cut out while idleing in traffic and again cranks but won't start. car has new battery.

From what i've seen over the years with the Chryslers i've encountered. Your describing to the "T" what appears to be a bad Crank Sensor. I will bet money that if you replace the crank sensor it will solve your problem. BUT...Also know that a bad fuel pump can do exactly what you describe in your statement. Once the pump get hot it gets to acting stupid, but yet again so can the Crank Sensor. Still, my money is on the Crank Sensor.
