replacing the complete lock set with the EWS control unit can be expensive as the control unit will also need to be programed and/or encoded, however if the lost keys cannot be found and you are sure they cannot be used to steel you car you can just order replacement keys from your local bmw dealer. hope this is of some help. You will also nead to disable the lost keys if you order replacements rather than a complete set.

I just had the same problem... the rear glass has 2 suports, which you will need to insert a long screw driver in it and force them back manually... It's a pain, but I can get you all the pictures to this procedure...

Sensor is out of adjustment. Possibly from wear. The bigger question is! where is the sensor? if it is integrated into the latch mechanizm like some jeeps are then it will be a pain to fix.

If you have the door panel off already. you have to look at the back of the door latch mechanism. you will see where the wire for the door handle hooks to the door. If you are starting you have to be very careful in removing the screws for the door panel look for the hidden screws under caps with cutout.there should be a toric screw where the door handle is and another one close to where the mirror mounts. again look for caps
