How many miles to reset evap?
Not so much miles, as days
Only the manufacturer knows the Evap System
schedule, for that Emissions Monitor to run
You have 8 Monitors that have to run
7 to go to inspection & if that one hasn't run,
they check your gas cap
You may have an Evap System fault or failure & it
will never run, until found & repaired
Basically-- IF-- you have no OBD problems, you have no
dash lights on
A professional scan tool & a road test will point you
in the correct direction
I do not go to inspection without doing that,or you know
your going to fail, I take mine with me & wait on the monitors,
then stop for a bagel & continue on until they all run & by then I'm
near the inspection station & will pass
So you need to diagnose the evap & fix it,then same day or the
next, the light goes out,no need to clear it,the self check will do that

Is the check engine light on? If it is you will need a code reader to plug into the OBDII port under the dash near the steering column. But that may not keep the light off. Your vehicle’s computer system has self-testing capability. When the computer senses that there is a problem with some of the components it stores the correspondent trouble code(s) in its memory and lights up the "Check Engine" or "Service Engine Soon" light to tell you that there is a problem and your car needs to be repaired. Hope this helps.

the oil light comes on every 3,000 miles or so as set by the dealer. It doesn't actually 'check' your oil. So your oil changes are probably not going to coincide with the change oil light. So you will have to reset the light on your own. The solution above is what the manual says to do, however, my venture is temperamental, and I have found that I have to press on my accelorator 5-6 times before it will reset the light.

Need to have the SRS system scanned for codes. Then they can pinpoint the faulty sensor or module. Call a few shops first as not all of them can or willl do it.
SOURCE: where is the location for
Its either in between the throttle body and the EGR valve or it is mounted to the bottom of the bracket that the coils/module are bolted to.
