You have a really bad misfire going on. i would not drive the car but if you get it towed you can get the engine codes read which will give you more of an idea on whats going on. Otherwise its just a guess.

hello, to fix this problem what you need to do is replace your egr valve its a pretty straight forward replacement ,to get a new one goto any auto parts store and tell them what you need thay all carry egr valvs in stock cost is about 30.00$

i had the same thing, i had it tested at auto zone and they said it was the obd2. i was told the o2 sensor was not a big deal so i reset the check engine light by holding down the trip meter button while starting her up and it has not been on since.

The "check engine" warning light advises that the vehicle is in "fail safe" mode. That means only some of the car's capabilities are operational, just enough to get you to the nearest service point.
