What fuse controls the air conditioner on a 2005 f150?

The air conditioner has stopped blowing cold air. What fuse controls the air conditioner?

It will be either a 30 or 40 Amp fuse. I should be marked on the legend. Also check if you have a relay, it may be bad.

SOURCE: 2000 Jeep Cherokee Air Conditioner

If compressor isn't kicking in, check the connector atop the a/c accumulator, beside the coolant recover tank, in the engine compartment. That connector is atop a black bottle, and the connector goes to the low pressure switch. These switches do fail, and you can jump a wire across the connector terminals to see if the compressor comes on (engine running). As this circuit provides part of the ground path from the compressor clutch, if the switch is open, the compressor will never turn on. If the switch is failed, it can be replaced without opening the a/c system. Just disconnect the connector, unscrew the switch, replace it, and reconnect the connector.

SOURCE: air conditioner doesn't blow with much force

Refrigerant is not your problem!!!!!!!!

Your recycle door has broken off and fallen over the suction duct to your blower. You can verify this by removing the blower under the dash on the passenger side. Reach up into the duct and if there is a plastic door obstructing the duct, it has broken off. With a little manuvering you can remove the broken door through this hole and you will have air again, just no control of inside or outside air. Dodge has redesigned the housing for this recycle door which is supposed to stop this from happening. The redesigned housing and door come as a unit from Dodge for about $30.00 and this includes the electric actuator. This requires removing the Dash to change the housing so if your not ready for several hours work, take it to a mechanic.

SOURCE: Air Conditioner Problem

the most common problem here is a defective air temperature control blend door actuator, this is what moves the door that controls air flow across the heater core or the ac evaporator core, to replace this requires u remove the dash assembly.

SOURCE: Air conditioner works then stops blowing cold air

when you day the air goes on and off i assume you mean the compressor goes on and off. that is what moves th freon through the system. if you are getting cold air when the compressor is running then the problem is that the compressor is stopping and that would be because a pressure switch may be bad. it is possible that model has a thermal shut down too say if the compressor was low on lubricant and was overheating when it does run. but if it is a pressure switch that is failing and they do, it is an easy fix. if you follow the ac lines you will find the switch.it is small about the size of a sparkplug-attached to the ac line and will have a connector with two wires. if the car is running and ac is on but the compressor is not turning remove the connector and jump to two wires. the compressor will start running if the switch was bad and we are sure there is a good charge on the system. if you are getting cold air there should be a sufficient charge to close the switch. these switches can be removed without losing any freon. there is a valve below them that will shut off when the switch is removed. then all you have to do is get a new one and screw it into place,apply the connector and you are done. if that is the problem. hope this helps please let me know and good luck

Why does a/c only blow whil vehicle is in motion?

you have a problem with the heater/a/c controls there obviouly stuck on a/c you will need to strip out the control panel to see why the direction/vent , hot/cold , fan speed controls are not working , before doing this have you checked the fuses as there may be a seperate fuse for the control panel ,if this all checks out take to an a/c specialist as you dont want to mess around with a/c gasses etc

Why won't the air conditioner blow air?

The very first thing you need to do is to check for fuses or say faulty fuse. Secondly check fan which starts along with air conditioner, it might be manually switched off or the fan may have been clogged. Also reason can be lack of refrigerant - charge your air conditioner with refrigerant. Last thing you need to check is cooling coil - the cooling coil may freeze if there is no refrigerant in the system.

Air conditioner suddenly stops blowing cold and starts blowing heated air. Control panel indicates that it is still on air conditioner. Switching the control from vent to cold does not have any effect. ...

If you are absolutely confident the AC compressor is not kicking out on low pressure then it is the blend door actuator.

The blend door determines how much air blows through the heater core or evaporator.

The actuator can be purchased at dealer and maybe at a local part store.

2005 Toyota Corolla air conditioner is cold but

The air flow does not 'increase' with the recirc button pressed. The fan motor blows at specific speeds, no matter whether fresh or recirc is selected. The recirc feature is there so that you do NOT admit 'fresh/hot' air from the outside into the AC box. In short, the recirc feature is to re-use, or, recirculate the existing air in the car. When it is properly working, on a hot day, the recirc selection should drop the internal temperature at the center air vent about 6 degrees lower than with the fresh selected.

Air conditioner, fuel gauge, and temp gauge all stopped working at the same time

Three possibilities;
All related to blown fuses,

1- Fuse blown in the engine compartment LH.
2- Fuse blown in the cabin forward LH below the dashboard (below your legs left hand).
3- Fuse blown in the harness (wire bundles) below the dashboard very easy to reach with your hands “just look underneath steering wheel ".

U said " The air conditioner blows, but the air is not cold.
" Yes only the fan working which might receiving power independent all from those other mentioned things.
If all fuses OK. Then look for broken wires.

Regards;
