SOURCE: my1987nissan pulsar keeps on blowing fuses. what

You have a wire that is grounding out or hitting other wires. Check your electrical wires. look for burnt spots and for exposed wires.

SOURCE: My headlight fuse keeps blowing. The headlights

Have you tested the amps being drawn with all bulbs in the circuit. This can be done easily by the DIY with an amp gauge and a few feet of wire. compare the result to the fuse amperage.

I have a 2017 Dodge Caravan. The Front wipers randomly stopped working. And the Fuse keeps blowing, Any ideas on what the issue could be, and where to look?

It is likely one of the components connected to the wipers has failed. I recommend having a mechanic inspect wiring and components related to the wiper system to determine which one has failed. This could include the wiper relay, wiper switch, wiper motor, or wiring harness issue.

Windshield wiper fuse keeps blowing

Since you Disconnect the motor also renewed the switch and is still blowing the fuse ,it is obvious that you have either broken wire between the switch and the motor. Try to test the failure by means of a tester circuit. Good Luck.

The Wiper fuse keeps blowing? Any Ideas?

Does the fuse blow as soon as you turn on the switch? Or do the wipers operate for a bit then the fuse blows? Will the wipers work in intermittent mode? Can you move the wipers by hand? Unless other wiring work has been done (eg radio replaced) I suspect the wiper motor is toast.

Wind shield wiper blowing fuses

You have a short circuit to ground when the switch for the wipers is turned on. It does absolutely no good to keep replacing the fuse until the short circuit has been located and repaired. I guess you are just starting to figure this out five fuses later.

The lesson here is that fuses do not cause electrical circuit failures. Electrical circuit failures cause blown fuses. There are many people that do not understand this.

If the fuse remains intact until you turn the switch on, you will find the problem between the wiper (combination) switch and the wiper motor assembly or the wiper motor itself.

Yes my fuse for my wipers keeps blowing and my wipers turn on when i plug fuse in even know the wipers are turned off.

The power distribution box in the engine compartment # 6 , 30 amp mini - fuse , front wiper motor , front wiper relay , front washer pump , FEM ( also # 7 , 25 amp mini - fuse , rear wiper etc. ) The owners manual shows to disconnect your battery cables before servicing anything in the PD BOX

your relay could be shorted which makes the fuse keep blowing

My 99 Ram 1500 keeps blowing the wiper fuse... I think it's a bad ground connection, but need a shematic to find it.

Fuses dont blow for bad connections, the blow because of a SHORT. Disconnect the wiper motor and then turn the switch on. if all is ok, then connect the wiper motor, if the fuse blows, the wiper motor MAY be bad

2001 sonata wiper fuse keeps blowing

If the fuse blows as soon as you put it in and the wipers are off then you have a short between the fuse block and the wiper switch.

If the fuse blows only when you turn the wipers on then more than likely the wiper motor has shorted and burned out. This one is very likely if the snow storm was heavy and you was driving in it. Cause- Moving large amounts of snow and ice off the window puts a heavy load on the wiper motors.
