Sometimes my 2001 isuzu trooper cuts off when i stop at red lights or stop sign. I wanted to know if this happen to anyone out there and how to fix it. every shop i take it to cant find the problem
If your mechanics say the mass air flow sensor, fuel pump and fuel filter is good then check your intake Manifold Gasket. It is a hard 1/4 inch thick plastic gasket that cracks frequently and causes sputtering when letting off your gas pedal and eventually lead to stalling at red lights and stop signs if cracked bad enough.

you are having the same problems i'm having, there could be numerous of problem starting from the crankshaft position sensor, o2 sensor, a bad ignition coil. don't make the same mistake i did guessing what is wrong by buying parts here and there. Please TAKE IT TO THE DEALER! let them scan it only telling you what is giving you problems

If its the 3.0 diesel it could be the rail oil pressure sensor starting to pack up .

If your battery is 5 years old, it may be time to replace it
If not, check battery voltage
If battery is good, your starter solenoid or the entire
starter may have failed
Everyone else ,will tell you to check your battery
cables for a good connection. I will assume you do that
occasionally anyway
