When ever I turn on the radio while driving, after a while it starts to cause hiccups in the electrical system. It causes the engine to sputter and and even shutdown one time. When the radio is off, there is no problem. Also when the engine is idling and the car is in park, there is no problem using the radio. I have pulled the radio and found the connector to be tightly connected. What do I do? Get a new radio, or take it to the dealer to diagnose?

I don't know how the above could have any effect on temperature. Is the vehicle full of coolant? In my opinion you have two different issues

Honestly? Cruddy parts.
I have a Dodge Stratus....97....same thing here. Unfortunately, shoddy parts, even from the dealership. I think the best thing is to keep a fresh one on hand. I know that the wiring is garbage too due to how the harness curls up to the sensor. Not much to tell you on this one.

The 3 liter mitsubishi is pretty prone to this actually. You would have to tear it down to see what happened, but yes it's likely that you have a bent valve and/or hole in the top of a piston from a valve.

Hi
Check for plugged exhaust system. If plugged will cause overheating and misfiring of all cylinders.

It seems like you have a vacuum leak in a hose some where. Check under the hood for any rubber hoses that are dry-rotted, cracks, or sharp bends in any of them.
