Ew5 angine with pgm-fi. adjustable map sensor. was ideling eraticly and the pgm-fi light came up on the dash. i stoped the car and started it again and it went away-re set codes i think. i have a scan tool ready to use but cant find the plug, of the holder that has two plugs to be put together to give a flashing error code.

The PGM Main relay is outboard of the glove box. You can see it if you get the glove box out of the way, but to remove it, you need to pop the triangular shaped plastic trim off of the end of the passenger side of your dash. The relay is held in place with one 10mm bolt and the electrical connector.

P1298 is a result of a alternator wire short. check fuse 6 in the driver's under dash fuse panel and see if it is blown. If it is check the black/yellow wire of the alternator and see if it is shorted to ground. repair the wire and replace the fuse. Also you might get the O2 sensor code as a result of this fuse being blown also.

I believe you are getting these codes as the crank sensor has failed, high value in other sensors. I have found it can just be the plug connecter try giving it a clean....
