Re: There's no power to my 2004 Chevy trailblazer keys...
You have to have power to remove the key. There is a cable to the shifter that is hold the key from turning completely off. Put some pwoer to it and it will release.

sounds like you need to try jumping it, you lost voltage and the btsi solenoind is probably locking you out of putting it into park and being able to turn the key back
sound like problem in the theft security systm, try this insert another key in the ignition switch, the other key could be worn where pcm and bcm dont recognize it. and switch ignition on engine off watch padlock symbol with ignition switch left on 10 minutes the padlock symbol will extinguish or turn off then you will turn off ignition switch wait 5 seconds then try starting vechicle if start your theft security failing need let dealership check it out.
ok my problem is my chevy blazer is that my reverse wont work and that even in neutral it still goes forward like its in drive any body got any suggestions
If you can't get the key out of the ignition, it's probably the ignition switch (where the key goes in) that is bad, not the starter. The starter is on the right side under the exhaust manifold behind the right front wheel. It's not easy to change on those unless you know what you're doing.
