This appears to be a fairly common problem on your vehicle 2 seperate occurences the electronic locks will not operate and also the mechanical latch not operating both resulting in an inoperative back door condition. It seems the only way to open the door is to remove back door panel and manually operate the latch mechanism and then find why it will not operate normally for instance the linkage no longer being attached to latch mechanism or electronic connector not making connection both have been found to be common in gmc yukons

SOURCE: The Heater fan in my 2003 GMC Yukon XL will not turn off

I don't know if you already fixed it, but I had the same problem on my 03 yukon, TysonRicky is right. In my case it was the blower control module. You can find it right under the glovebox. It cost me close to $100 for a new one, but very easy to replace. Can't even imagine how much it would've cost me if I had a mechanic do it.

SOURCE: 2005 gmc yukon back passenger doors will not

My wife's 2003 Yukon wouldn't lock the rear doors or hatch, but it would unlock. My problem was the lock relay was bad. There are two relays, one for lock and one for unlock. They are located in the fuse panel on the left side of the console. Open the drivers door and you will see a cover that pops off. Behind this are several fuses and relays. Consult your manual to see which is the lock and unlock relays. They are side by side on a 2003. They pull straight out. I replaced both and they were around $10 apiece at any auto store.

SOURCE: when i open the driver door the radio doesnt turn

I have a citroen berlingo van does the same thing I open the door the radio comes on with the interior light. I disconnected the light and tried it, same thing I have now noticed though that when I lock the door with the key the radio will go off after about 2 minutes. Try it and let me know if locking the door with the key works? its always puzzled me but I have left it as it still turns of.

SOURCE: car tends to sway when semi trucks pass me . I

No. It's just a question of aerodynamics.

The current combination of vehicle plus the long trailer simply results in the vehicle being affected by the turbulent air created by a semi. All cars are affected to some extent, but as you're in a taller vehicle with a long trailer you're affected even more. Without wishing to criticise your vehicle choice, it's probably worse as it's a US design: although they're often very big and powerful, they do tend to handle like a boat compared to European and Asian models, but on the flipside you simply don't get many non-US models that are that are as big although many produce similar power output using smaller engines which are more modern and efficient.

All you can realistically do to minimise it is to ensure that your tyre pressures are correct and that there is no adverse wear to steering or suspension components. Also check that your towing hitch is at the right height and loading and that there's an effective tow-hitch stabiliser fitted which is appropriate for the size of the load. You'll also find that if you carry loads on the roof of your vehicle it will make matters far worse, so try to avoid doing so.

SOURCE: I have a 2007 GMC

This happens because the gate motor senses an obstacle and it interprets that as an dangerous behavior and backs it down.
If nothing is blocking it then it must be something in the mechanism - try to move it manually. If the movement is very slow and hard then the mechanism is defective - most probably rusted.
You can either take the gate apart and repair the mechanism (or just replace it) or you can force it up and down a few times, maybe it will clean itself.

Where is the air compressor for the ride control on 06 gmc denail

Ride control compressors burn up because of leaking air line or shocks. Replacing compressor won't last long if you have a leak. Most of these units are mounted under floor near rear axle.

ITS A 2007 GMC YUKON AND THE VEHICLE HIT SOMETHING IN THE REAR END. NOW BACK DOORS WONT LOCK AND FLY OPEN. DOES IT NEED TO BE REPROGRAMMED?

Sounds like the crash buggered up your door's alignment with the strikers. The best thing to do would be to run it in to a good body shop, or figure out how to align it back with the strikers yourself (Not an easy, nor a fun, job).

07 GMC Yukon liftgate will open, but not close automatically

Check on the Strut Assembies on Each side of the Door. There should be a Safety device on them that will allow you to keep the door up, They could be Catching at the Open Position.
