Do you have 12 volts in the battery and is it in good shape? If you don't have power in the battery, your alternator cannot produce power. I suggest you do a hydro test on your battery.

4m41 2003 model starts and idle nicely but after probably 5minutes it starts to misbehave, cutting and high idling

There are a few possible reasons why your 4M41 2003 model might be cutting and idling high after 5 minutes. Clogged fuel filter: The fuel filter removes impurities from the fuel before it enters the engine. If the fuel filter is clogged, it will restrict the flow of fuel to the engine, which can lead to a variety of problems, including cutting and idling high. Bad spark plugs: Spark plugs are responsible for igniting the fuel in your engine. If the spark plugs are bad, they will not be able to ignite the fuel properly, which can lead to a variety of problems, including cutting and idling high. Low compression: Low compression can also cause a variety of problems, including cutting and idling high. Compression is the force that pushes the piston down in the cylinder, which is necessary for the engine to run properly. If the compression is low, it will be harder for the pistons to move, which can lead to a variety of problems, including cutting and idling high. Clogged injectors: Fuel injectors deliver fuel to the engine in a fine mist. If the injectors are clogged, they will not be able to deliver the fuel properly, which can lead to a variety of problems, including cutting and idling high. Mass air flow sensor: The mass air flow sensor measures the amount of air entering the engine. If the mass air flow sensor is faulty, it can provide the wrong information to the engine's computer, which can lead to a variety of problems, including cutting and idling high. Throttle body: The throttle body controls the amount of air that enters the engine. If the throttle body is dirty or malfunctioning, it can restrict the flow of air to the engine, which can lead to a variety of problems, including cutting and idling high. If you are experiencing these symptoms, it is important to have your vehicle diagnosed by a qualified mechanic to determine the root cause of the problem. Once the cause of the problem has been identified, the mechanic can recommend the necessary repairs. Here are some tips to help prevent these problems from happening in the future: Change your fuel filter according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Change your spark plugs according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Keep your engine clean and well-maintained. Avoid running your vehicle on low fuel. If you notice any problems with your vehicle's performance, have it checked out by a qualified mechanic as soon as possible.

Engine cuts off after start

have a load test done on the battery as you have a dead cell and the alternator cannot produce enough current to feed the dead cell and the ignition system at idle.

I have a 1998 hyundai coupe 1599cc the engine cuts out when idling and i have to jump start it or wait for about half an hour before it will start again

This sounds like a battery or alternator problem.

Lets start with the battery, just because the car starts in the morning does not mean the battery is good, A bad battery will start the car and as car is running and drawing power out of the battery the battery which is getting charged back up from the alternator but if battery is bad and not accepting the charge this will do a few things.
First it will cause damage to the alternator because , the alternator will try to charge the battery with no result and so it keeps charging at high rates and heats up and causes damage to itself , the next thing is battery loses voltage slowly until it does not have enough voltage to keep engine going , inturn engine stalls out,
I would start by first having the battery tested by a shop with a battery tester, the next thing is the alternator , have that tested.

Your problem will be a bad alternator or battery. good day.

03 windstar cuts out when a/c is turned on

hi

2003 Ford Windstar-this may the idleing amount is too much so which may makes it to idle rough. that means too much of fuel going inside the engine.

Engine stalls- this is because the when the car is off and when AC is on the AC runs in battery. When you try starting the car the starter motor takes power from the battery. it doesnt have enough battery power t o starts thats why it stalls.

Hey, sounds like a vacum leak - common on those engines. when engine is on idle open boonet and lissten out for any whoosing noises near the rear of engine. There is a breather there that can be changed ( black round ) or check the pipes that connect to it coming from rocker cover for damage.
