Give the dealership your VIN# and they will in turn provide you with an 'unlock' code. Input the code and you should have radio. If not, you will need to remove the radio and give the dealer the chassis # found on the case.

Maybe,
Terminals are old POS that no longer conduct. Hit your local auto parts store and buy some new Terminals. Get something that Is a strong Conductor. I suggest Brass. Also Its Important to get the right size Terminal. I would also put money on your Main Power Wires being real heavy gage that will not fit into a generic Terminal. So make sure you get a terminal your gage of wire will easily fit into to avoid head ache and the hacking of your nice heavy gage Into lets say Civic gage to fit a too small terminal which mind your will work However you will have less power weaker connections ultimately Find your self with a car that will not start. It does not hurt to also sand any white crude or rust that would further interupt your new connection, Complete that and she be ready to fire up and hand you your next task.
Good Luck,
SOURCE: transfer case oil change- 1999 Land Rover Discovery II
No need for a diagram, to drain the oil, there's a drain plug on the bottom of the transfer box, under the handbrake drum. To fill, the fill plug is about in line with the centre of the handbrake drum and to the left. I think both plugs are 1/2" square. Fill to overflow with Texaco Multi-Gear 75W/90R. Takes about 2L or so.
