My 2005 infinity has all of a sudden thrown me 3 different lights. Service engine soon, vdc off, and slip. I recently had a flat and got a used tire put on. The car stalls to start and is now cutting off while driving what could be the problem I've checked the gas cap and my tank is almost full. Please help!

Your tire sensors are sensing different size tires./ Your tires are rotating at different speeds because of the size difference. put the same tires on the front axle if front wheel drive. and the same tires on the rear if rear wheel drive. be sure to match tire pressure.

SOURCE: dodge stratus check engine light

Try disconnecting the battery for a few seconds, unless you have some anti-theft system on your vehicle, that may get messed up by the disconnect. If you do, then I;d wait it out, I think it's about 50 starts & it should disappear on it's own, if that doesn't work, zip in to dealer & see what they'd charge to reset it for you.

SOURCE: replaced braked pads - now VDC and Slip Lights are on

I would take the car to almost any auto parts store and ask them to check the ODB II computer for codes and to reset the "Check engine light". Get the code that they tell you and it should go a long way to pointing you in the right direction to fixing this problem. It might also be that when you pumped the brakes that you somehow set a code in the computer from the ABS system and now that you have the brakes pumped up and working correctly resetting the Check engine light might fix your problem.

Good luck! Write back with any code you get and I'll see if I can help you figure out what the problem might be.

SOURCE: Car stalls when accelerating

I would replace that tank (asap), so there can be a cap back on it.
With the cap off, the fuel system can't build up any pressure to hold the gas in the lines.

SOURCE: Service engine soon light

in your manual inside your glove box it will tell you how to restet the service due soon message, or the mechanic should do it when he/she services your car.

SOURCE: service engine soon, TCS off, SLIP

The oil change wouldn't cause this problem. Just in-case, check the engine oil level.

There are many emission sensors in the car that will make the engine light come ON. Best way to find out what's going on is to have an auto-parts store hook up a engine code reader and tell you what the code means. Most auto-part store will do this for free.

I recently hit a curb with my rear tire on my 2006 infiniti M35X and now the VDC and slip lights come on and my all wheel drive doesn't work nor my cruise control. What's possible wrong?

Its possible you just tripped a code. Take a OBDII scanner and scan for codes. Its possible that if you erase the codes, they wont come back and all will be well. Write down the codes in case and if it comes back look in to them. Maybe abs sensor.

2004 infiniti g 35 x service engine soon ligh

Have a shop check for codes,diagnose them,component
test to find a problem & resolve it

I find it odd that we get these questions about vehicles

We have had check lights, codes & such since 1981,over
33 years & have been working on all vehicles the same during
that period & we all get a dash lights on our vehicles once year,
so this is nothing new

Basically if you don't work on vehicles, then the questions should
go to a the dealers & repair shops, that do

If you check for codes ,you can Google them & see the problems

There isn't much that is not on the internet already in print

Infinity g35 sedan slip, vdc lights

When ever you get these waring lights it means the computer control module has sensed a fault in the systems many parts or wiring, in order to begin the diagnostics to repair the fualt the system must be scanned for fault codes. this is the number 1 first thing that must bwe done.

I have infinity fx 35 2003 the service engine light on i read the fault on the scanner its camshaft sensor bank 1 , we replaced it in the new camshaft after 3 hours the service engine and the vdc off and...

You need to run a continuety test between the PCM and the sensor wire most likely a bad wire or the connection( if the Wire and connection is good its probably a bad pcm)

Vdc,slip, abs comes on my g35 and while i drive it stops suddenly so what is the problem

Recently had the same issue one week ago. I had to replace the cam and crankshaft position sensors. Which were about $600 in repairs. You can always take your car to AutoZone and let them put it on diagnostic machine for free.

2006 infiniti m35 vdc and slip light on all the time what does this mean ?

Were you able to use cruise control? I was not able to use it, because I had the VDC & Slip lights on in my 2006 M35X. My Infiniti dealer checked out two faulty parts. The ICC (Intelligent Cruise Control) and the YAW Sensor. These electronic parts don't break often, but when they do, they break your bank to get them fixed. My bill is over $4,000 CAN. I was kind of lucky, the extended warranty pays for it. The service adviser at the dealership said it does not matter where you buy used car nowadays, especial later models, get an extended warranty that covers electronics or enhanced electrical. These electronic parts are very expensive due to the fact that the dealerships do not stock them, and the turnover is slow.
The manufacturer will have to make us pay for it.
