I can provide you with a general fuel line system diagram for a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan with a 3.8L engine. However, keep in mind that the specific layout of the fuel lines in your vehicle may vary depending on the trim level, optional equipment, and other factors.
Here is a basic diagram of the fuel line system for a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan with a 3.8L engine:
Fuel tank Fuel pump Fuel filter Fuel pressure regulator Fuel rail Fuel injectors Throttle body The fuel tank stores the fuel for the vehicle. The fuel pump, located in the tank or along the frame rail, pumps fuel through the fuel filter, which removes impurities and debris. The fuel pressure regulator helps maintain the correct fuel pressure in the fuel rail, which supplies fuel to the fuel injectors. The fuel injectors spray a fine mist of fuel into the intake manifold, which is then drawn into the engine through the throttle body.
I hope this information helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
Turn the Key to the 'ON' position, the fuel pump should run for about 1 second. listen for it. Do this a few times without trying to start the car. This should pressurize the system. now try starting the car. There may be air in the system from changing the filter.
Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
NOTE
The fuel filter is located underneath the vehicle in the area of the rear suspension.
Relieve the fuel system pressure.
Raise the vehicle.
NOTE
To remove the lines, press the quick-release tabs on the connectors.

To install:
Position the fuel filter into the bracket. Ensure the fuel flow direction is properly aligned.
Install and tighten the fuel pump bracket bolt.
Lubricate the fuel tube fittings with clean engine oil. Align the fuel tube fittings and press together until a click is heard and then pull on the fittings to make sure they are fully engaged.
The fuel line comes from the tank to the fuel filter, goes tru the
fuel filter to the fuel line going to the engine injector fuel lines
which deliver a mist of fuel to the engine cylinders to make the vehicle
run.
If there was no Pressure or fuel in the line then the pump is defective. Did you half to bleed the fuel line pressure off to get the filter disconnected from the fuel line. Can you hear the pump run when the key is on, you should be able to hear it run. And if you can hear it running then you can check the fuel pump pressure the motor does not half to be running to do this. Good Luck and have a good XMASS.
The Lines are simple if it's a 2.4 EFI the lines run on the driver side inner rail from the center top of fuel tank, and up the middle of the firewall to the injector rail or throttle body carburetor there is also one line that runs from the evap canister back to the tank and to the fuel system three lines total one is a return line the large line is the main fuel line and has the fuel filter mounted on it and is under the driver side door inside the frame rail.
The motor is probably ok,empty the fuel tank, change the fuel filters, and drain the fuel lines.Engine may need to be run several miles before feeling normal.
