No power to fuel pump

1989 Ford Bronco full size. Not getting any power to the fuel pump. Maybe a power with wiring.

Hi..my name is Keith..and the 2 things that i know of...that will not let power go to the fuel pump is 1..the fuel pump relay being bad..or 2..that something has tripped the Inertia Switch...and it needs resetting..i hope this will help

o.k. check the fuse also the fuel pump relay you can download the manual in there is the fuse diagram go to 1989 ford bronco owners manual from ford it's free and can be put on your phone or you can print it this will help it also could be a broken wire or dirty connection

It could have a weak or failing ignition coil. The other thing I can think to look for would be an exhaust restriction.. (clogged catalytic converter)

What about the fuel filter?? was it replaced?

I just had the same problem, today, check the tan- lt green wire on the fuel relay that is located on the right fender, mine wasn't pushed in all the way, this wire shut down spark and fuel

check the fuel pump relay this sends the power to the fuel pump,

also has the car been in a smash even a small one if so the car may be fit with a enersher switch that cuts off the fuel circuit.

recommend you by a repair manual from your local parts retailer for the exact locations of these 2 units

Fuel problem

Hi there.... in the passenger compartment you will find and inertia switch. It is usually located behind the kick panel on the pasenger side. Pull the kick panel of and you should find a box with a button (usually red) push the button in and you fuel pumps should work again.
