1995 jeep will die just driving down the road sometimes you can go far but sometimes after 2 miles and wait about 5 to 10 mins and it will start again other times you have to wait over and hour the fuel pump is working van hear it run after turning key on.
The pump can be running but not pumping any fuel.
When it stops running you will need to figure out if you are loosing spark to the plugs or fuel to the injectors.

It sounds like you have some **** in the gas tank that is being drawn to the pickup blocking it.
Have seen this and because it seems so random, it can drive ya nuts.
You might carry a coffee can with you and pull the line from the fuel rail when this happens stick it in the can and just have someone turn the key on for a few seconds.
Beware though, it comes out with force.
Also possible is a failed fuel pressure regulator.
Those aren't expensive and . . . well, not very good either.

Could be one of several items...I'd check the fuel pump relay, auto shutdown relay and the ignition switch itself. I'd bet on it being one of those relays but, we all have been fooled at least once!!! I'd also make sure that body and engine grounding is good and clean. Relays can't work properly without a good ground.
