best ask a steering specialist shop as the engine identification shows a es300 as a 1mz-fe (3.0 ltr) and a ls400 as a 1uz-fe (4.0 ltr)
there may be mounting differences between the engines

It should fit. The issue is the engine wiring harness reference: 1uz-fe(1996) and 1uz-fe vvti (1999). and some engine accessories relocation. GL

For the LS400 1UZ-FE V8 the firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2, RH from the front 2-4-6-8, LH from the front 1-3-5-7. The RH/LH of the engine is facing forward, in other words, from the drivers seat looking forward.
