SOURCE: !991 Olds 88...can I replace with a shorter serpentine belt?

Unplug wires going to the compressor, and let it freewheel, if it's not noisy in that mode. A/C compressor won't kick in if not connected. A lot less hassle than going the other way.

SOURCE: 2007 chrysler sebring serpentine belt diagram

Go to; daycoproducts.com, click cars and trucks, then go to serpentine belt. Then on the right side of the screen click on finding your vehicle. Then get the illistration number and click on illistrations, go to that number it should something 6-? or 7-?. It's a pretty good websight.

SOURCE: need to replace serpentine belt without ac on a

As far as I know there is no idler by-pass pulley for that car available yet..So,no.
However the compressor may be ok. If the A.C. is off the compressor doesn't spin, the only
moving part is the pulley on the end, and it's bearing. I suspect it is that outer bearing that is bad,
not the whole compressor.
A good shop can pull that bearing and install a new one (A GOOD shop could do it
in the car and not even loose the freon!)
Hope this sheds some light.

SOURCE: what size belt do i need to bypass ac compressor o a 99 chrysler town & country?

I wouldn't because you need the defrost to work while in Rain with windows up or in the winter. Good luck with finding measurement for mini-van. Not many people void them.

What size serpentine belt to bypass ac compressor?

as there are engine running that have no ac fitted there will be belts to fit your car. Go to an auto parts shop that has a good selection of belts and they will have a catalogue with your belt listed.

Is there a serpentine belt made for 2007 Chrysler Sebring 2.7 Engine without ac

The short answer is no. You may be able to measure the length of a belt that does not go around the ac compressor and buy that belt, but chances are you won't be able to route the belt to bypass the compressor and keep it tight.

What size is the serpentine belt for a 2007 Chrysler Sebring 2.7 Engine How many belts does this vehicle have?

The answer is specific to the car itself. Does it have an Air Conditioner, etc.

Drive to a NAPA or other Auto Parts Store and inquire, they will be able to find the exact belt(s) you need.

Will any serpentine belt pypass the a/ccompressoron a 2007 Chrysler Sebring 2. 7 engine

The correct way to do this fix is with a compressor delete pulley, that way the belt is still routed properly and keeps the proper tension on the belt. All the major parts houses carry some type of compressor-delete kit,(the most popular p/n for 2.7 Chrysler engines is Part Number: 34177 Dorman part.)

Can I bypass the a/c compressor with the serpentine belt on my 2007 Chrysler Sebring

You will have to take a measurment and buy a shorter belt.. one way is to use a string going around all pullies.. then measure string and buy correct belt.

you may omit the compressor with a shorter belt of you can find one. just make sure the rest of the pulleys are working especially the water pump and power steering.
