P1610 is a resulting DTC from the "LOCK MODE" condition which is set for various NATS malfunctions or an improper key being used. It prevents the car from starting (for some period of time, even if the key issue is rectified). To reset a NATS lock mode, a proper key must be cycled three times again to get the car to start

P1610 and P1611 codes are showing on my 08 nissan rogue

Hello. Diagnostic code P1611 means you have low voltage at your relay box; code P1610 means someone kept starting that car 5+ times. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

1999 chevy malibu p1610 diagnostic code means what?

DTC P1610 Lost Communications with Body Multiple Control (BCM) System
Circuit Description
The PCM uses the serial data circuit to communicate with various other devices and systems in the vehicle. The PCM ensures that communication remains established by monitoring the serial data circuit for state of health messages from the other devices using the circuit. If the PCM detects a loss of the state of health serial data message from the Body Function Controller (BFC), DTC P1610 will be set.

What is p16ff code for nissan

all of my research keeps coming back to p1610 for the P16ff Code but I am not sure.
The code P1610 is a problem with the NATS, or better known as system of vehicle immobilizer. And this arose out of the following:
-are using a q-key is not registered or not transmitting the code
- BCM or ECM are evil, and
now is in "locked mode"
you can do something quick:
1. Confirms the code q yields
2. EXIT THE LOCKED MODE. If the code is p1610 continues with the following with a copy of the vehicle key:
(1) -Place the switch to OFF
(2) -Place the switch in ON with the key registered(do not start the engine). Wait 5 seconds
(3) -Returns the switch to the off position. Wait 5 seconds
(4) -Repeat step 2 and 3 two more times (being a total of 3 times) (
5) -Starts the engine
with this test and write us if t worked. If this is not the case there will be q enter to detail by checking with the diagnostic charts and other things.
The other code does not exist or does not comply with the structure of a code
