Why would my ecm burn out 2003 Chevy blazer,replaced the ecm but still won't start

Looking at the owners manual, fuse box diagram starting page 351 or 5-88 the only thing listed for ECM1 is Engine Control Module Injectors

Check the engine control modual.

The ECM does not recognize the different key. A tool referred to as a Tech-2 plugs in to the scan port, the truck is put in learn mode and the prompts on the tool are followed, this "programs" the ECM recognize the new key.

Faulty fuel pressure regulator.

If it is not turning over, or the starter is not turning the engine over, you either have a bad battery or a faulty starter/solenoid. AutoZone and Advance Auto Parts will check your battery for free and let you know if it is the problem. They will also check your starter if you pull it out first.

Start by flushing your coolant system and replacing your thermostat. You may later find that you have a clogged heater core.

If it does not make any noise, or sound like its getting any power, most likely its the switch.

have the computer checked out. may need reprogramming and have updates added. also check for loose or corroded connections at the terminals.
