What engines will interchange with 1990 mazda B 2200 pickup without having to do any modifications? will a 1990 ford ranger pickup fit the mazda truck without having to modify anything . will it just op in the engine compartmt
No it will not. Only a comparable engine from another mazda b2200 truck and I think the b2000 and possibly Miata, 2.2 engines were about the same from 1986-1993. You can pretty much count out just dropping in a motor from a different manufacturer for any make. Fords don't fit chevys, etc. etc., This would require you modify the entire drive train and quite possibly the electrical system, cooling system, etc. Definitely not worth the hassle involved.

yes, i believe you could put any engine on your pick-up provided it is the rear wheel type set-up and the engine comes with its own tranny. problem is, if changing the engine mounts, tranny mounts, wiring set-up and exhaust system layout would not be of any problem to you. might as well look for the same mazda engine you have as a replacement to ease installation.
try calling a junkyard and see if they will tell you the enterchange ok good luck

You disconnect the battery negative cable for a few minutes, but if the problem is not fixed that turned the light on it will come back on in around 20 miles/
