There are actually two locations where there is a fuse that handles the cruise control unit. There is not a relay dedicated to it. The link provided should help.

So after you push the button and then press the set button in the steering wheel it does not get into cruise control ? It sounds like a minor electrical problem. If you have warranty still I think the dealership should fix it for free.

Sorry i have not been able to help you.

SOURCE: location of Idle control valve on 04 CRV

It's not a easy job but I'm pretty sure you had one of those problems where the idle surges if this is the case take out the air intake tube that leads to the throttle body, get a can of carburetor fluid and spray around the throttle body. You will need someone to start the car and hold the gas peddle to 2500 rpm while you do this the car will shut of when you do this, restart the car and repeat the process until half of the can is used up. Now check your antifreeze level fill if needed and reset you check engine light. Now you can take the idle air back and get your money.

SOURCE: cruise control

Try to clean/change the brake switch. The switch is positioned at the brake pedal. On Accord 2003 it can be very easily removed by anti-clockwise rotation of the switch. You can replace the switch with a new one or you can clean the contacts of the old one, since the switch can be dismantled very easily.

92 honda accord lx it will start when it is cool outside but when it is hot it will not start. have already replaced distributor, coil, main engine relay switch. Can u tell me what else it could be ?...

I had the same issue happening with my 92 accord lx. I replaced the main relay and the issue was resolved... Was it the relay under the dash and hidden by the cruise control box you replaced? It is located under the drivers side dash, tucked WAY up there behind the cruise control box. This relay controls both the spark delivery AND the fuel pump.

If this IS what you replaced, it is more than likely still an electrical issue since the syptom only occurs when it is hot. This means an electrical connection is expanding and not connecting when it is hot. If the relay was replaced, it is possible the ECU may be having issues.

I need diagrams on the location and removal of 92 honda accord main relay

I don't have a diagram, but it is not hard to locate.... It is under the dash on the DRIVERS side, behind the cruise control box.... it is usually held in on by a small metal bracket with two 10mm nuts. It is easiest to remove the cruise control box first and swing it to the side as the relay may be hidden behind it.... Here is a link to a site that should be helpful. http://techauto.tripod.com/mainrelaydefine.htm
