Why is my Hyundai i10 is beeping when the door opens?

When I open the door to leave the car it sounds a beeping alarm. No lights are on. I have fitted the seat belt and disengaged it but the beeps still sound. There is no alarm fitted.

If the car uses a key fob its beeping because the key is still inside the vehicle.

SOURCE: How to open the bonnet of Hyundai i10 car

Under your dash there is a small lever with a handle and marking. pull this for ejecting the bonnet. use your palm to push off the safety lack that hold the bonnet- safety for holding on during high speed/ wind if the bonnet lack opens- to lift up your boonet. You can look through the gap of the bonnet to see this safety latch.
now on top of the engine you will see the cap for the oil inlet.
Now beffore you do that , use the dip stick to look for the oil level. wipe it and check again. Only if the oil is down you need to replace. Also topping is not required unless the engine is old/bad. otherwise it is important to change the oil filter and oil along with your service. So check this out. Good day

SOURCE: My 1993 Elantra's seat belt audible/light

There is a switch in the seat belt latch that is probably worn out and it is sensing that the seat belt is not being used.
If this is a problem it should be easy to fool it into thinking the seat belt is connected by finding the wires that run to that switch and connect them together.

2007 Hyundai Santa Fe.Fob didn't work. Got locksmith to open. Car won't start. Got new battery. Won't start alarm kept beeping fob wouldn't turn it off. Won't start. disconnected battery. ??

Fob didn't work so the alarm immobiliser was armed and active when the locksmith opened the car - with predictable results.

Fob still not working - broken or needs new battery. Have you fitted a new battery into the fob?

The alarm immobiliser will probably remain armed until the doors have been locked and then unlocked with the fob.

There is a small chance the system can be fooled into thinking it has been disarmed by disconnecting the battery (overnight if poss) and then with the door open and the ignition key in and turned on, when the battery is reconnected it might be possible to start the engine...

think but not sure ? you need a new door lock drivers side .would need to remove door card to check it out ,making sure that one of the mechanical levers isnt sticking .but modern cars door locks are all in one so to speak and as such not repairable .electronics ?

In my Hyundai I10 there is fault with central locking, when open it unlocks and immediately locks back, it does not stay opened

the length of time that a car says unlocked is dependent on the make
most are around 30 seconds before it relocks itself
to stop it relocking just open a door and then close it and it stays unlocke d

There is a blue light flashing on rear view mirror. Why?

Usually a flashing blue light is from an aftermarket installed alarm system or remote starter.
You may want to check your owners manual if the light is in the mirror glass.

Have beeping noise can I unplug something to fix the problem 2002 kia Sedona

Beeping noise is the car alarm system for door open, key in the hole and the engine is off, parking lights are on and the door is open.

If the beeping sound can be heard while the doors are all closed properly, no lights are on, the key is not in the ignition switch, then one of these systems (doors, lights, accessories) are grounded.

You have to eliminate the cause one by one starting with the door switches which is the most likely cause, followed by the key in the switch sensor found at the base of the ignition switch (you have to open the steering wheel cover to check) and then lastly check that no lights are on when you close the door.

the alarm emitter is found at the end of the console box right below the car radio system.

Alarm goes off for no reason.

this could be a couple of minor things which we can check first, open and close each door to see if they all operate the courtesy lights, open the trunk and push the trunl light button to ensure it is switching off. there may also be a button under the hood. lastly check the glove box button is turning off the glove/jockeybox light when it is closed. if any of these fail, that is the button that needs to be removed and inspected. Good luck
