Replace the Window Regulators and maybe the motors. Sounds like the drivers window has done what mine did and the cog has rolled off the end and jammed on the regulator. Reg's are cheap (£35 or so), make sure you buy some panel clips for the door trims as you will break some! A trim removal tool is also recommended. Clips are a few quid, tool is usually around £10 or so.

If the motor works then the window should move up, this sounds like the regulator may have broken, try to lift the glass by hand and see if it moves, if you are able to move the glass up then the regulator is bad but if the glass wont move then it would have to be the motor or the switches. you can try banging on the inside of the door while holding the switch in the up postion, this sometimes helps when a motor is going bad, good day.
