Where is the reset button on carrier model 38TKB036300?

Year make and model of the vehicle please?

Push button start vehicles can be problematical.

You have to call your isp if it part of the carrier package, or bring to the manufacturer, if not under warranty : you can look for reset button :)

I am not sure your car has a carrier bearing, but if it did it would be located on the drive shaft between the transmission and rear end of the car.

If you mean the carrier bearing on the driveshaft - then you must have a v6 model. I would advise to skip replacing it and instead purchase a 1pc shaft (no carrier bearing). The cb is located near a Hi-Speed CV Joint which make changing the carrier a little difficult.
A new replacement 1pc driveshaft costs about $225.00

You could also check a junk yard for a 1pc oem shaft (most shafts there are bent or have bad uj's and will cost $$ to have fixed )

No it does not. Only Chev trucks have them.

Here is the method for the 2004 model. I think the 2006 is the same.

Turn the ignition to the "ON" position. Press "SETUP" button. "PRESS RESET FOR SYSTEM CHECK" is displayed. Press "RESET" button.
"OIL LIFE % HOLD RESET NEW" is displayed. Press and hold "RESET" button until "IF NEW OIL HOLD RESET" is displayed. Press and hold
"RESET" button until "OIL LIFE RESET TO 100%" is displayed.

hi,better to consult your dealer,if your model can fit your bike carrier,dealer have a special equipment manual for every mb model

To reset the engine oil life, do this: push info button till oil life comes up, then push inforeset, to reset to 100%


To reset the transaxle oil life do this: early models; press off and rear defrog button simultaneously.
later models; press info till the oil message shows up then, press and hold info reset.


Some models have both, but my 94 Deville only monitors the transaxle
