The ets light will come on when you have a driveability problem it would be the best bet the check the dtcs and fix those for the check engine light first clear everything then drive it.

Is the engine idle just set a bit low anyway? Can you access the idle adjustment and turn it up a tad? The sluggish drive may be in need of an engine service but a 1.3 is small for this car. Check out online car owner forums to see if others think so to.
You need to check the cold choke set up, which may be called a IAC Idle Automatic Control this is sensor works the am starts for cold or hot idles... Do you have a light on??
It sounds to me like there is a problem with your Idle Speed Control solenoid/motor. (ISC) These can sometimes fail without turning on the Check Engine light. If the Check Engine light is coming on while you are driving, you should have the computer system checked out first. This will lead you to the proper fix.
