Where is the output transmission speed sensor on a 2006 crown Victoria and how do I replace it.

usually located on the tailshaft of the transmission, can also be located in the housing of the transmission, on the bell housing and some times manufacturers can use the crankshaft position sensor that is on the engine to determine "transmission speed"

Fig. 2: Remove the retaining bolt for the CKP sensor and remove the sensor from the front cover

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the accessory drive belt from the engine.
Raise and safely support the vehicle.
Remove the A/C compressor mounting bolts, but do not disconnect the A/C lines. Remove and support the compressor out of the way.
Detach the electrical connector for the CKP sensor.
Remove the CKP sensor retaining bolts and remove the CKP sensor.

To install:
Installation is the reverse of removal.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Location of coolant temp sensor 2000 crown vic

If the sensor was the problem you would have a check engine light on, the fan is operated by the powertrain control module which controls a relay module. You must have the dealer run a scan of the system ans do an active test on the fan operation to determine what is wrong.

Hesitation and stumbling.

Before you do that, check which thermostat it has in it, if it has one that is letting it get too warm or not completely up to temp when the computer think it should be, it would cause this. My 2000 crown vic did the same thing and thats what it was.

How do you set the timing on a 1997 ford crown victoria?

You can not set timing on 97 CV. It is computer controlled. It does not have a distributor the PCM (computer) uses a signal from the crankshaft postion sensor mounted near the harmonic balancer to control timing.
