Drivers breaklight not working replaced breaklight switch now wont' get out of park

The brake light switch controls all the brake lights. It will not correct a problem with only one light inoperative. One light out only may be a bulb/socket or power/ground to it. Not coming out of park ( Year/make/model didn't post ) is usually controlled by the brake light switch. Sounds as if the switch is not adjusted properly. MAke sure the brake lights come on when pedal is pushed

WHY PARKING BREAK DEFAULT LIGHT 2004 XJ8 ?

if the park brake warning is on and the park brake is inop. there are several common problems with this system, the most likely causes are 1 the rear brake caliper sliders are part siezed or the pads siezed in the caliper frame 2 the wiring to the park brake motor open circuit or rubbed through on the rear subframe.3 the park brake motor has failed, you really needto get the fault codes out of the park brake module if the above checks out ok the above faults i have found to be the cause 9 out of 10 times. hope this helps.

Inoperative brake and tail lights

hiya
cars dont have relays for brake lights as its too low power.
If you have power across the switch you may want to check the connections to the bulb holders and then check the bulbs themselves.
If no power at bulb holders you need to check the loom which, unless you have had some welding or similar disruption would be very odd.
Check for a good earth at rear bulb holders too, quite oftena poor earth will cause many faults.

Tail lights inoperatrive

Could be one of three things;
1. Check the fuses in the fuse box.
2. If all fuses are OK, check the headlight switch.
3. If this car has 'delay turn off lights' feature, the lighting control module should be checked.

GMC 07 Serria backup sensor will not work. I had a new bumper installed. At first it beeper all the time. Now it will not come on. The DIC shows park assist off.

#PIT4878: Service Park Assist Message / LEDs Stay On Or Inop - keywords B0968 inoperative lamp led light lit module reverse urpa - (Jun 12, 2009) 999999995.gif Subject: Service Park Assist Message/ LED's Stay On or Inop Models: 2007-2009 Chevrolet Silverado 2007-2009 GMC Sierra With RPO UD7

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern: Some customers my comment of a Service Park Assist Message on the DIC and/or the LED indicators at the right rear pillar staying on or inoperative. This concern could be caused by the wiring harness to the LED indicators being pinched under a ground eyelet at the right rear pillar, as shown below.

other issues could be the problem such as poor connections at each sensor or damaged sensors. to clear URPA codes, place ignition in run,(engine OFF),shift into reverse and turn key OFF.place shift lever into park and retest operation of URPA. if still inop URPA code(s) need to be retrieved before further diagnosis can be accurately done.

Unable to shift out of park upon starting. Pressing on brake petal upon shifting. Also noticing my brake lights are not coming on during this procedure. Owners manual mentioned about the gearshift anti...

Sounds like since the park lock and the brake lights are both inoperative, the faulty component would be the brake light switch which should be just above the brake pedal under the dash.

More info, let me know.
