SOURCE: cylinder 7 misfiring on a 05 f-150 5.4 liter

Firing order is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 Passenger side of engine starting at front and going back is 1-2-3-4 Driver's side starting at front going back is 5-6-7-8.

I believe that would be the drivers front cylinder closest to the radiator. At one time, I think on the 1999 model of that same vehicle there was a problem with a radiator hose leaking and dripping on the coilpak and #5 plugwire. Might be same thing.

You can take it to Autozone or Oreillys for a free scan to verify a misfire.

You Have to remove the transmission to perform this task, as there is no other way to get slave cylinder off transmission input shaft .
