SOURCE: where is the Throttle Positioning Sensor located

The throttle positioning sensor is actually mounted to the throttle body on the opposite side of the throttle cable. there are diagrams that show most sensor locations but not 100% of all sensors

SOURCE: 1995 nissan pickup throttle position sensor

ok on a 2.4l on the black/green and white wires use ohm meter and there is no specific spec for that engine just make sure the the resistance changes and there is no dead spots. for the 3.0l black and white wires specs are 1.0-9.0k ohms im guessing the specs are the same either engine. close to full open

SOURCE: 1997 Nissan p/u lurching at low speed

Sounds like it might be a weak fuel pump.Check your fuel pressure it should be 43 psi with the engine running.

97 nissan 4cyl pickup w/145,000mi. stalls with air cond on, runs fine w/off, replaced feul filter( didnt fix it)

try a tps throttle posistion sensor the engine is not idling fast enough with the ac on thats why it stalls if you have a manual adjustment on the throttle body speed the engine up 150-200 more rpm this should solve the problem.
