If you press and hold the 1&4 or 2&3 buttons together for 6 - 9 seconds a 3 digit number appears (xxx). Hold the AM FM button a second 3 digit number appears (yyy)

Call 1800-537-5140 when recording starts press 106010*xxxyyy* and it will give you your code

My 97 jimmy wont give me my second 3 digit code but good luck

SOURCE: 1999 gmc jimmy w 4.3 v6. cannot find oil filter

look under the front of your blazer, just below the bumper, and you will see a little access door in the plastic guard. Open this door, and you will find your oil filter.

Where is the dome light fuse located for 1996 gmc jimmy

There are two - one at the left end of the dash (with driver's door open) and one under the hood on the driver's side. Fuse details are on the inside of the covers.

We just bought a 1999 GMC Jimmy and the heater doesn't work. The fan blows but there is no heat. The air conditioner works fine.

Could be that the heater core is disconnected, there are two hoses that attach to the heather core that come out of the engine, this provides hot water to the core thus making the heater work, when the heater core starts leaking water the quick and fast fix would be to bypass the heater core and connect the two hoses together, check under the hood on the left passenger side there should be two hoses about 1" thick see if there are connected together or of they seem to be connected to 2 outlets that come out of the inside of the vehicle. people do that specially if selling vehicle.

1999 GMC Sierra The electrical door opener stopped working. The door continues to automatically lock when the truck is driven but I must manually unlock it to get out. The remote door lock and unlock...

The relay is working fine if the automatic locking system is working. The module for the automatic door locks has a circuit to lock the doors upon shifting the vehicle to drive. The circuitry has a relay built into it that unlocks the doors when parked so that module is not fuctioning properly for the unlocking mode

Vents blowing constant cold air...told it was the blend door on my 1999 GMC Jimmy ....replaced thermostat.....flushed system and replaced cracked radiator....heater coil is not leaking. A/C is a seperate...

Its more than likely the blend door not moving to the heat position. I'm not familiar with the location of the blend door in the 1999 GMC jimmy, since I'm not a mechanic and don't have a manual on that vehicle. If you can get to the blend door housing you might be able to move it physically.
