1992 cad deville fuel and stall
I'm not sure what you mean "fuel and stall", but a loose battery conection can cause it to die. As far as fuel - check the fuel filter.

I had my car put on the machine for a cat scan and it turned out to be one of my crankshaft sensor was going bad.... could not tell rather it was the upper or lower failing so I had both change to be on the safe side.I just got the car back and it seems to be running fine.Thanx for your help

your water pump may need to be changed. have a trusted mechanic check it. the water pump is connected to the drivebelt of your 4.9 l engine, and if thats where the sound is coming from you can be pretty certain

I had a similar problem and a new thermostat. I removed the thermostat altogether to see if it was a problem and no more excessive heat. Bought another more expensive thermostat and problem cured.
