I have a 2001 Mazda Bravo with 2.5 TD. The problem is the glow light in the dash goes out about 5 seconds before the glow relay clicks out and the glow rack stays positive until the engine warms up. This only happens on cold starts as everything is perfect when starting at running temperature. I have put new glow plugs in.

most likely the relay. its located to the left of the fuel filter( looking at the motor from the front). my experience is that they only last about 50,000 miles. the part costs about $20 at an navistar dealer. remove the cowl over the filter, disconnect the batteries(so you don't short the new relay out if you cross the polarity with a wrench) ,remove the four wires from the ceramic relay, un-fasten the relay from the base. reverse the process with the new relay. CAUTION; do not over-tighten the nuts on the wire studs, you could crack the ceramic relay.(iv'e done it) . hope this helps

dear friend-it sounds like you are having a circulation problem,when the engine has reached normal working temp feel the two radiator hoses they should be the same heat,also check the water pump to see if the impeller is not loose,it is not to say that the radiator is clean after a flush,it must be opened to clean.
