Install the radio retaining nuts.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Tighten
Tighten the radio retaining nuts to 10 N·m (88 lb in).
Partially install the radio and A/C control assembly.
Connect the electrical connectors to the radio and A/C control assembly.
Install the radio and A/C control assembly.
Install the heater and A/C control and radio bracket fasteners.
Install the console trim plate. Refer to Console Trim Plate Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
Install the instrument panel center trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
