YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD. ALSO, YOU WILL NEED TO REPLACE THE LOWER INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKETS. THIS IS A MANUFACTURING FLAW. THE PLASTIC INTAKE CRACKS CAUSING AN INTERNAL COOLANT LEAK. YOU CAN RESEARCH THIS ON LINE.

Are your cooling fans working? that will definately be a problem if not working. if they are working shut car off and feel the radiator is it the same temp all over or is it hot in only top or one smaller area. if you do not have same temp feeling on all of radiator your radiator may be plugged.

more than likely the thermostat has stuck open. Or opening to soon not allowing the car to reach normal operating temperature. I would start by replacing the thermostat. Clearing the code and running a drive cycle and see if the code comes back. if the code does not return problem solved. if it does return replace the coolant temp sensor.

The problem is the low level sensor. It is just below the radiator fill neck.About 3 or 4 inches down on the passengers side.It is held in by a wire clip. The best way to replace it is to let the cooling system cool down so there is no pressure build up.There is an o-ring for a seal. What I do is lube the o-ring seal before installing the sensor so it goes in easier and the o-ring will not slide off.You can partially drain the coolant just below the sensor level or just remove the sensor and install the new one.You will loose a very slight amount of coolant if your quick enough. You should be able to get one at any part store and it should not cost to much. You can call ahead to the part stores and tell them your make and model number along with the engine size.I hope this helps and good luck.
