Check engine light comes on when driving at high speeds. Believe it is the MAF sensor ?

p1131 p1151 p0171 p0174
All of these p1131 p1151 p0171 p0174 codes indicate a problem with a lean condition. This engine is known for vacuum leaks, so before you start throwing oxygen sensors at the problem, it pays to perform some diagnostics.
Start by cleaning the MAF sensor. Spray the sensor with CRC MAF sensor cleaner. Next, check the plastic vacuum lines, especially where they meet with rubber boots. If they are cracked or the rubber is swollen, replace the line. Then check the rubber elbow that holds the PCV valve. That elbow is a know failure point. In fact, the entire PCV tubing is a trouble spot on these engines. (thanks Ford).
After you've checked for vacuum leaks, check the operation of the oxygen sensors. The easiest way to do that is to disconnect the sensor from the harness. Connect one lead of your digital voltmeter to the black wire on the sensor and the other lead to battery negative. Then start the engine and add fuel (either propane, starting fluid, or carb cleaner) into the throttle body to force the mixture to rich. You should see a corresponding increase in voltage as you add fuel (from 0 volts to slightly less than 1 volt). Start and stop the fuel enrichment and watch the meter to see if the volts drop as you stop adding fuel. If you see no change, the sensor is dead. Replace it.
You can also use the fuel enrichment procedure to locate intake gasket leaks.

This is the only info that didn't come back directly to FORD (yet still mentions it) instead of GM. Not to sure you got the correct code.
SOURCE: IDLE PROBLEM
Here are some of the causes of surges, stalls at stops, slow idle speed, erratic idle speed, rough idle and engine hesitation (and other problems), it is in most cases the idle speed control air-bypass valve and or throttle valve and upper intake, these area's get full of gunk and combustion residue over the miles and cause idle issues (stalls, low idle) like yours, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake.
SOURCE: MAF sensor and injectors
the mass air flow sensor is located between the air filter housing and the air inlet to the intake manifold, remove the two band clamps holding the maf sensor, clean when cold with CRC mass air flow sensor, remember to take off the three wire plug to the maf sensor, get back to me if you need more help, please rate my fix as i strive to be the best, problems, get back to me
SOURCE: po452 trouble code changed sensor engine light
you might try unhooking the battiey for 20min both + and - posties cuz that will force the computor to have to resest only if you have addressied the fuel pressure problem which taht would most likly be your filter which isn't all that much
SOURCE: 2007 Chevy Silverado when my check engine light
It's a safety feature. For example, if there is no oil pressure when you start the engine, you could not see that unless you were in the car and could spin a bearing or seize the engine by starting it remotely and letting it run unattended. So when the check engine light is on, there is something not working properly with the engine/engine management system and it wants you in the car where you can see the guages and turn the engine off immediately if there's a serious problem.
SOURCE: 1999 chevy silverado service 4 wheel drive light
I had a similar problem with
the Service 4 Wheel Drive light which came on intermittently then became more
consistent in the message center display. It would go into 4 wheel drive if the
message center did not display the Service 4 Wheel Drive message in the message
center, but not when the message was displayed. I found the transfer case
switch module in the dash was defective, and it has been working with no other
problems for three years.
