try looking for the relay box and listen to each relay the one that clicks when the wipers are on
is the one to take out and replace it with a new one or second-hand one but make sure to turn off the car first .

Read the owners manual on resetting your door control seat preference this will include steering column and pedal adjustment if installed on your 7.

pretty quick. but be sure it the alternator. You can test it by starting the car then unplugging the battery. If it cuts off when you unplug it it's the alternator if it keeps running it's not the problem

on the BMW there is an electronic control module that controls all of these functions, sounds like you have a problem with it. Check your fuses, if non are blow there are dealers on e bay that can repair it for around the £70 mark. I have a similar problem with my 3 series

BMW has the central body electronic zkev system.its computer control or control by a control module .if you replace battery or move battery.it put wipers in sleep mode.the BMW dealers is going to have to reset it to get wiper going again.
