why take bumper off if your model was equipped for fog lights the wire plugs are already there as well the caps on the bumper should be screwed in place just go underneath and remove the caps and find the wires then put in a set of lights that fit in the hole or cut out the covers to fit your lights in saves a little of taking the bumper off

To remove the front bumper cover you must first remove the turn lights in
the bumper. To do this remove the fog lights or the fog light covers by
removing the screw under the cover and remove the screw from the bottom that
holds the light in place. After doing this you will see a 12mm bolt behind
the light and one just to the inside of the lower grille. Remove all 4 of
these bolts(2 per side). Also remove the bolts /clips in the lower panel
under the bumper. The corners of the bumper near the fender actually slide
onto a stud that holds it in place. Just remove the bumper by pulling
forward. Sorry if this seems confusing but it is really pretty easy to do.

REPLACE FRONT BUMPER YOU SAFELY RAISE SUPPORT VECHICLE ON JACK STANDS.WORKING UNDERNEATH VECHICLE YOU DISCONNECT FOG LIGHT ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS IF EQUIPPED. WORKING FROM BACK OF THE BUMPER REMOVE ALL BOLTS THATS HOLDING BUMPER TO FRAME RAIL THEN YOU CAN REMOVE THE BUMPER.

Remove all eight small set screws (4) on each side in the fender wheel wells. Then remove the four secure bolts on undercarriage of bumper (4). Take a screw driver. (flathead) to the upper portions of both the left and right side of the bumper. Be careful....... These are extremely fragile and you may need to replace them before replacing the bumper. Then comes a bit unnerving part. Removal of the bumper........ (This scarred the **** out of me!!!!) just grab ahold of one of the corners, then gradually pull! That's it. The clips will come out gradually and evenly.

First remove the driver's side fog lamp plastic cover out from front bumper. After that you will find torx socket head panel screws from fog lamp. See picture below:

Look up into the bumper and see if you can access the fog light. The bulb should just twist out of the back. If not, the assembly should either pop forward or back to come out. I've heard though, that many santa fe's require the removal of the entire front bumper fascia just to get to the bulbs in which case you'd have to remove your headlights to get to the screws holding the bumper fascia on

To replace the fog light of the passenger side you need to remove the fog light bolt and pull out the fog light assembly, then you can remove the bulb and put a new one in.

To replace the fog light on the driver side you will need to remove the front bumper cover so you can remove the vacuum box that is in the the way of the fog light bolt.

To do so you need to remove the Torx (star) screws located in the front wheel wells as well as the bolts holding the plastic by the radiator. "CAUTION: DO NOT UNBOLT THE RADIATOR."

If any of the screws are rusted into place put some penetrating oil them to help loosen them up.
