Hi guys I got lexus rx 350 2010. My rear door lift gate most of the times not working!!! I press the button from inside on dash board, or from outside on trunk door button, or press the button on the remote control , it doesn't matter, it s just buzzing and that's it!!! Sometimes it's working fine ,but it's just like frozen or got not enough power to lift the gate back on . I realized that whatever button I am using , the turn signal lights flashing and sometimes not, sometimes it's flashing and starting lift the door and momentarily stops. I hope somebody will be able to help me with that , according on all this symptoms. Thanks in advance !!!

SOURCE: automatic sliding doors and lift gate don't always work

You need to go to the dealer and have them check the codes. The factory has a reflash for the sliding door and liftgate modules for this type of problem the codes it might have for this is INCOMPLETE POWER OPEN - EXCESSIVE HALL EFFECT SIGNAL the flash is resetting obstacle detection values. But you need to go to the dealer, this can be only one possible cause. I have fixed many vans that has had these 2 codes. There is a bulletin from chyrsler for this.

Rx330 won't open rear gate
Inside the glove box on the left side there is an on/off switch, which m,ay have been bumped off thereby shutting off the power controls to the hatch. Check that first. Then press the unlock button on your key twice, then test all 3 power hatch buttons to test them, one each on lower left dash by the gas cap door release, one on fob and the one at the hatch. If they still do not work it is possible your door may need to be 'initialized" by your dealer due to power failure. I have seen this with seats and windows but never with the rear door....

Driver side buttons for passenger windows doesn't work after changing battery.
when you change the battery you must reinitialize all the windows, sunroof and rear gate. you must operate each window from its own button, holding it to a count of 4 at the very bottom and very top. for the sunroof you must hold the button in the close position and let the roof go thru its complete cycle. the rear gate must be opened manually and closed by pushing close button on gate.
